Welp, my “I’m so done with photo shoots until 2010″ rule went out the window when I received a call from a new mommy wanting me to take newborn photos of her daughter.  So, on Christmas Eve I headed to Boulder to meet this ever so tiny and precious baby girl.  A big “thank you” to their nanny who is THE best baby swaddler on the planet!

So, this client of mine emailed me saying that she has an out-of-the-box idea (to which I immediately replied with an “I’m in!”) and wondered what I thought of it.  She recently bought the most adorable raspberry colored pettiskirt and a dress from Couture and wanted to have the session right at the shop in their beautiful victorian chair.  We had a blast and little Zoe felt (and looked) like a princess.  Couture carries a variety of pettiskirts and other beautiful children’s clothing, all of which photograph really well.  Shop there today and tell Shannon I sent ya!

Anyone need to do some last minute Christmas shopping while touring a $3,850,000 home? Many local vendors (including yours truly) will be at the following open house event this weekend and next!

Oh!  And the Junior League of Colorado Springs will be there as well selling their new and amazing cookbook…the PERFECT holiday gift.
