Don’t let the snow fool you my friends…it is, in fact, SPRING!  To get you in the mood for spring, I’ll be offering 30-minute mini sessions on June 1&2 at the Flying Horse Athletic Club.

If you’re not quite happy with your child’s school photo and would like me to update it with a more contemporary style, bringing out their natural expressions, then this session is right for you!  Or maybe you recently purchased an adorable Matilda Jane outfit that you’d like your daughter to be photographed in.  Whatever the reason, now is the time to schedule a photo shoot at a significantly discounted rate.  Details in ad below.

This will be an indoor “studio” experience with your choice of three different backdrops.  The backdrops are only large enough to accommodate 1-2 children at a time.  Feel free to use this half hour however you’d like!  Space is very limited and fills up quickly.

Happy New Year everyone!  I’m proud to announce the arrival of our third baby, Ryan Charles Smith born on January 4th.  I had high hopes of getting more caught up on blog posts before the new year but now that this little guy is here I imagine I’m going to stay behind on that task for a bit longer, lol.  Newborn photos of my adorable little man coming soon…THAT I can assure you.  For now, I wanted to post this new package I’m offering all new moms/dads out there.  I’ve received a lot of interest for a package that included a few milestones with the rights to all digital files.  Here you have it…the “Watch Me Grow” plan.  As a reminder to those expecting a baby, call within your second or third trimester to schedule the newborn session.  719-434-0707

Well, it’s approaching that time of year already…mini sessions!  The perfect opportunity to update your family photos in time for your holiday cards!  These will be my last mini sessions for the year since I will be rather pregnant and uncomfortable come mid/late fall.  And, since fall is my busiest time of year anyway, I need to take it a bit easier this year.

The 30-minute sessions will be held at Fox Run Park (2110 Stella Drive,  Colorado Springs 80908) on September 15th and 16th from 4-6:30.  Once I receive a $100 deposit (which will then be applied towards either package) via the payment tab below then your session is reserved.  Please email which 30-minute slot works best for you.  The times available are listed below.  Those crossed out are already taken.

The next mini session date is scheduled for Sunday, July 29th at Cherry Creek’s the Right Start located at 3000 East 3rd Avenue.  A $100 deposit reserves your time slot and will be applied towards your package.

Mother’s Day is rapidly approaching and what better way to treat yourself than to a mommy and me mini session!?   In thirty minutes, I focus on capturing the special bond between mother and child…the hugs, the snuggles and the tickles…the things you love about being a mother but now have the opportunity for someone to capture it live.  The photos also make a great gift for Father’s Day.   Please email jsmith@jamiesmithphotography.com to reserve your 30-minute session. A note about mini sessions:

This mini session is a shortened version of my regular portrait session, lasting only 30 minutes in duration.  It allows for just enough time to capture some updated mother/child images just in time for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.  It does NOT allow for any outfit changes or a wide variety of backgrounds.  Due to both time and space contsraints I cannot accept groups larger than 4 individuals.

All sessions are booked first come, first serve and they will fill up fast.  Please select your desired time from the list below and email me at jsmith@jamiesmithphotography.com that you would like to reserve it. I will send you confirmation within 24 hours and at that time will need to take a $100 deposit to hold your spot (the payment tab is located below once you’re confirmed). Deposits are non-refundable unless your spot can be filled by someone else.  If a time slot is crossed out that indicates it is no longer available.

Note:  Any special discounts cannot be applied since this is already very discounted.

Location: 6 South Tejon St., Colorado Springs, 80903.  Out of respect for me and other scheduled clients, it is VERY important that you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time to be sure we can promptly begin your session.  Light refreshments will be served if you need to wait.
